Xavier University of Louisiana has partnered with Ochsner Health to advance the education of its students via a new Physician Assistant (PA) 程序*. It is a 28-month master’s degree program that has a 12- consecutive month didactic phase and will include 16 months of clinical training within the Ochsner Health.

The ARC-PA has granted 认证-Provisional status to the Xavier University of Louisiana 医师助理计划 sponsored by Xavier University of Louisiana. 

认证-Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, 如果完全按照计划执行, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding 认证-Provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.

认证-Provisional does not ensure any subsequent accreditation status. It is limited to no more than five years from matriculation of the first class.

高级药学实践经验(APPE)

The Advanced 制药acy Practice Experience 程序 (APPE) is a structured experiential course designed to educate students to think and act
independently as pharmacy practitioners during the fourth professional year. The principle mechanism used in experiential training is to place
students in practice environments where they will encounter multiple challenges.
